We are reaching out to you today to share news of a heartbreaking tragedy that has befallen a family in our community. Just days before her chasunah, a young bas Yisroel lost her dear mother, Mrs. Chava Friedel Gelbshtein, a"h, after a year-long illness. This petirah has left the family in deep mourning and in a very difficult financial situation.

The father, who dedicated himself to caring for his wife throughout her illness, is now left to support his large family of twelve children, ten of whom are still at home, without a parnassah. They are facing mounting debts from medical expenses, previous family simchas, and the now-postponed chasunah.

In these trying times, it is our mitzvah to extend a helping hand and provide chizuk to this family. We are appealing to your generosity to help them meet their basic needs, alleviate the financial burden of the postponed simcha, and offer comfort to the kallah and her family during this difficult nisyon.
