P'TACH has believed since 1976: Kids do well if they can, and every child has a right to learn.

P'TACH began when a group of parents and professionals recognized that students with learning differences were being left behind, not for lack of ability, but for lack of a setting built for how they learn. Fifty years later, P'TACH is a trusted leader in specialized education in the frum community and P'TACH continues to expand.

WHAT MAKES P'TACH DIFFERENT

We do not remove students from their school community. We bring the support to them. P'TACH classes and resource centers operate inside mainstream yeshivas and day schools, so students stay with their friends, stay in their community, and participate in mainstream classes and school activities with the support they need.

Being in a mainstream classroom only works when a student has the resources to succeed. Simply being present is not enough if a child is struggling without the right support. Stigma is not being in a specialized group or class where a child can succeed. Stigma is sitting in a regular classroom, struggling to keep up with peers, and carrying those feelings of frustration and inadequacy year after year. Specialized support is not something to be ashamed of. It provides students with the tools, resources, and environment they need to build confidence, experience success, and reach their potential.

Some students need a P'TACH class once or twice a day. Others need full time support. The program is built around the student, not the other way around.
