The number 21 holds a heavy, agonizing weight in Jewish history. Exactly 21 days separate the 17th of Tammuz from the bitter tragedy of Tisha B'Av. It was on that very date—the 17th of Tammuz in the year 1099—that Crusaders brutally breached the northern ramparts of Jerusalem near the Flowers Gate. Over the course of the three agonizing weeks that followed, they overran the city, mercilessly murdered thousands of Jews, and decimated Jerusalem's Jewish presence. For 927 years, that specific footprint stood as a historical scar of exile and darkness

Today, we have an unprecedented opportunity to rewrite that history.

Transforming a Site of Tragedy into a Sanctuary of Torah
 

This year, during these "Three Weeks" of national mourning, we have an unprecedented opportunity to answer a millennium of darkness by renovating this historic space into a vibrant home for Jewish life on the exact site where the Crusaders breached the wall.
 

Under the auspices of Ateret Cohanim, a major new center of Torah is being established:

• A Yeshiva High School of 65 boys led by Rabbi Moti Tau. (Yeshiva Shlom Banayich)
• A Post-Army Yeshiva of 45 young men under the tutelage of Rav Tau and Rabbi Tzvi Kustiner.

These dedicated young men are the future defenders of the Jewish State—proudly preparing to serve their country as religious Torah soldiers in the Israel Defense Forces. By supporting them, you are replacing the dark shadows of the past with the eternal light of Torat Eretz Yisrael.

The 21-Day Challenge: Our Goal
 

We have exactly 21 days—starting on the very anniversary of the breach—to raise $100,000 for a major renovation to ensure this facility is fully ready for these students This is one facet of the total project. Your crucial funding will go directly toward the immediate overhaul of the space, including:

• Renovating a safe, comfortable dormitory for the students.
• Upgrading and modernizing secure classrooms for focused learning.
• Providing essential furniture, security enhancements, and vital infrastructure.
